There are many resources for Boone County families who need some extra assistance. I am committed to helping Locust families confidentially access the resources they need. Below are some frequently used resources, but there are more. Please contact me if I can help connect you with any needed services.

Many agencies register families early (September/October), and provide assistance on a first come, first serve basis.
- Buddy Packs - healthy food and snacks for families who are interested. Please let Mrs. Moog know if you would like to receive a buddy pack for your child, or complete this form:

CLOTHING
- The Wardrobe, Inc. - provides free clothing during shopping hours on Tuesdays. Requires a referral from Mrs. Moog.
- Shoe Coupons - can be purchased at The Wardrobe. Eligible families (based on income) can purchase a $40 voucher for $5 to be used at Shoe Carnival. Requires a referral from Mrs. Moog.
- Operation School Bell - provides new school clothes and a winter coat to selected children attending Columbia Public Schools. Requires a referral from Mrs. Moog.

- Voluntary Action Center 573-874-2273; https://www.vacmo.org/ 403A Vandiver Dr. The Voluntary Action Center provides families, elderly and disabled individuals with gifts and food for the holidays. Applications begin in September and close early.
